Medical malpractice is generally two years from the date of the malpractice but can be two years from when the malpractice is discovered. Wrongful death cases are two years from the date of death. Injury cases of minors can be extended until they turn 18. Florida has special time limits if you are injured by the government or someone injures you on purpose like during an assault that depend on the circumstances.
